On the USBC-H-422/485 PRO / USBC-H-422/485-M-ISO PRO series USB-RS422/485f adapters,what does the IPWR LED indicate?
Answer:
Our new PRO series adapters have a useful 5V output on the terminal block which can be used to power external devices with 5V at up to 250mA. The IPWR LED illuminates a steady green colour to indicate that this 5V output is on.
Note that on the USBC-H-422/485-M-ISO PRO, the 5V output is isolated from the USB supply via the DC:DC converter and so this LED also indicates that the DC:DC converter is operating and providing the 5V output.
